Your information stays under your control

Bill Hub by ECHO is a single-user, offline bill organizer. The current app does not send your bills, payment records, lists, tasks, contacts, or private details to a developer-operated server. It does not include advertising, tracking, or analytics services, and it does not connect to your bank.

Local records and widgets

Ordinary records are stored locally on your device. The app and its widget extension use shared local storage. A list is available in widgets only after you enable Allow in Widgets. Widget contents and notification previews may be visible to anyone who can see your device screen. You control notification permissions through iOS.

Optional private contact details

Optional private details are encrypted separately and protected by a PIN you choose. They use device-only Keychain storage and are not included in BILL HUB's ordinary exported backups. Resetting a forgotten PIN permanently erases the private vault. The developer cannot recover its contents or your PIN.

Backups and external destinations

You can export ordinary app records through Files. These JSON backups are not password protected and may contain financial information, bill account numbers, contacts, and notes. Choose where to store or share them carefully. If you select a cloud-storage provider or share a file with another service, that service handles the file under its own policies. BILL HUB does not operate an automatic cloud-sync service. iOS device backups are controlled by Apple and your device settings.

Your choices

You control the information you enter, which lists appear in widgets, and whether notifications are allowed. You can edit or remove records using the app's available controls and reset the private vault. Copies you export remain in the destinations you choose until you remove them there. Removing the app does not remove independently exported copies; device-only Keychain data may also persist after app removal, so use the vault reset control before removal if you want to erase private details.

Changes

This policy may be updated when app features or data practices change. The published version will state its effective date.
